The course consists of lectures covering the following topics:
Behavioral studies in fish and rodents, animal personalities (stress
coping styles), physiological correlates of divergent personality
traits, evolution of personality traits and domestication.
These lectures are complimented with literature, mainly review papers,
and seminars. Establishing contact between students as well as between
students and lecturers is encouraged. The students will also be given
the opportunity to present their own research.
Participation in lectures and seminars is mandatory.
Prerequisites
PhD-students in biology, veterinary medicine, medicine, pharmacology,
biomedicine, animal science, or related subjects, or to a residency
program in veterinary science.
