Statistics III: Regression analysis, Umeå

The course will cover the following topics:

• Simple linear regression.
• Multiple linear regression.
• Nonlinear models.
• Nonparametric regression and generalized additive models (GAM).
• Analysis of residuals.

Extent:
4 credits

Prerequisites
Statistics I or equivalent, i.e. knowledge of basic principles of hypothesis testing and confidence intervals.
